Gary Yasumoto
Born and raised in Sunnyvale, California, Gary was always taken on family vacations to the Northern Nevada area. Even as a little kid he thought this area was the best area in the entire world. Now that he has lived here for a couple of decades he has proved himself correct!
For almost twenty years he had worked for Harrah's and Harvey's Lake Tahoe. He started out carrying change which he calls "the most humbling experience of my life". He moved into Slots Management with Harrah's and decided to leave after 7 years for greener pastures at Harveys. Gary continued with Slot Management until promoted to an Executive Casino Host in 1999. He decided to leave Lake Tahoe as a Senior Executive Casino Host and take on new endeavors here at the beautiful Peppermill in Reno.
His hobbies are sports and gaming. Some call him a sports "junkie". He loves to golf but thinks he could stand a few lessons. His golf buddies have given him the nickname "sand bagger." He also loves spending time with his family and friends. He currently resides in Carson City with his beautiful wife Sylvia and she definitely deserves a medal putting up with him! Gary is a proud father of two grown daughters and rests well knowing they are now taken care of by the great men they have found.
