The Reno Tahoe community has a variety of events, historic buildings, performing arts, and galleries, year round. Cultural diversity and history are embraced and interwoven within the fabric of this community which has created the rich and diverse feeling both residents and visitors can call home.

• Discovery Museum
  • The Discovery is a hands-on science center designed to spark visitors’ curiosity—regardless of age. The museum boasts 67,000 square-feet of ever-changing galleries and exhibits focused on science, technology, engineering, art, history and invention, all designed to inspire curiosity, creativity and the joy of lifelong learning in all who visit.
• Nevada Art Museum
  • The Nevada Museum of Art has provided significant arts education programming for the public, school-aged youth, teachers, and artists in northern Nevada. Providing rich cultural programming for the community and all of its visitors.
• Stremmel Art Gallery
  • Stremmel Gallery specializes in contemporary paintings, drawings, and sculptures by mid-career and established American and European artists. Founded in 1969, Stremmel Gallery is located in a 6,500 square-foot, architecturally award-winning building in Reno’s Midtown District.  Stremmel Gallery offers a wide range of amenities including the sale of modern and contemporary art, painting restoration, commercial and residential installations, and warehousing of fine art.
• Pioneer Center
  • The largest performing arts facility in northern Nevada, the Pioneer Center features a distinctive gold-anodized geodesic dome and is an excellent example of mid-century Populuxe architecture.  The Pioneer Center is listed on both the Nevada State Register of Historic Placesand the National Register of Historic Places.
• Bruka Theater
  • Brüka Theatre is a performance art space located in downtown Reno, NV. Classic, contemporary, musical, original and Theatre for Children.
• Reno Philharmonic
  • The Reno Phil is northern Nevada’s largest performing arts organization with something for all tastes from Classical to Pop. Beginning its 50th anniversary season, the orchestra, led by music director Laura Jackson, is a part-time, per-service orchestra comprised of over 60 professional musicians who perform more than 30 concerts annually throughout the Reno, Carson Valley and Lake Tahoe region. 
• Reno Arch
  • The historic arch now located on Lake Street at the Truckee River is Reno’s most recognizable symbol. Fashioned after California city gateway structures, the steel arch was erected in 1926 at the intersection of Commercial Row and Virginia Street to promote the 1927 Nevada Transcontinental Highways Exposition, commemorating the completion of the Lincoln and Victory highways.
• Burning Man Art Display
  • Whether you are aBurning Man veteran or have it on your bucket list, one thing is for sure – the artwork created for the annual self-expression gathering is both innovative and fascinating. Now visitors and residents of Reno Tahoe can admire these beautiful pieces of artwork year-round. Check out these must-see Burning Man pieces that all art lovers can enjoy.
• Reno Mural Walk
  • The Midtown Mural Tour is yet another way to appreciate the rich beauty of Reno. It gives us insight to the heart of our town and the people that bring it to life. Located throughout Reno, the diversity of Reno can be illustrated by its many eclectic murals.
• National Automobile Museum
  • The National Automobile Museum (The Harrah Collection) has a “Wow!” factor you don’t often find in a museum. You’ll see more than 200 eye-popping cars with authentic street scenes and sounds. The facades bring displays to life; a hardware store here, a movie theatre there which accompany artifacts from each era.
